Edwards Skatepark

It's deeper than you think, especially further back.  There are sections with pool coping and tiles.  The concrete is nice.  But there are too many waterfalls.  One slight improvement would have been to cut the thing into two separate bowls, right about where the guy in red is skating in the picture.  Still, you can't complain too much about this place.  It is fun.

The street section was a bit uninspired.  Architerra uses a one-dimensional layout for this street area, much like Westminster only bigger.  You skate in one direction, do a trick, stop, get off your board, turn around, and set up the next trick.  In short, there is no flow.  The best thing about the street section is a manny pad not pictured.

Directions:
Take I-70 a bit west of Vail/Beaver Creek
Exit at Edwards [EXIT 163?] and go under I-70
Take a left at the first light and the park is on your right just past the dog pond.
