The park opened on February 5, 2005 - Design Concepts designed it, and ECI Site Construction Management was hired to build it.
This bowl had problems immediately upon its opening. For example, the transitions in the shallow were horrible, and the feel of the deep and the shallow did not go together. The deep end was nice and round, but the transitions in the shallow kind of mellowed out as you went higher up the wall. As a result, it killed all speed. Also, the 'crete was a bit rough. Apparently the city made the contractor redo the bowl, and repairs were finished in 2006.Not pictured are a flow/snake section, and a laughable street area. The street section is all thrown together in a small area, every line intersects (so it is one at a time or you crash), and there is no sense to where things are placed. For example, there is a piece of tranny that runs smack into a "hubba" ledge.
